Position Player Development

At The Athlete Project, we have the experience to develop exceptionally competitive athletes around the diamond. Kaiden - Baseball

Kaiden has been working with Jared a number of different ways over the last few years and privately for over a year now.

Kaiden’s dream is to play professional baseball. He spends his time playing with good club teams, lifting weights and doing calisthenics, focusing on his grades, hitting in the cages, and training with Jared. He is a good player that knows what he wants and what it takes to get there… and that comes from his time spent with Jared.

The one-on-one training that he receives from Jared has allowed Kaiden’s game to go to the next level. Jared focuses on the things that Kaiden excels at to make even stronger, as well as works on his weaknesses to turn them into strengths.

And that in turn has led Kaiden to see his future as a close part of everything he does right now. Invaluable lessons that don’t just come across the same way coming from mom!

Ken Rowlett - Baseball

I have used TAP for a solid 2 years now. In that time Coach Crum has made significant improvements in my sons baseball IQ and mechanical ability. I have had other coaches in the past make improvements with verbal corrections but it wasn’t enough. Coach Crum however approaches things differently. He utilizes his deep knowledge of baseball drills to keep things fresh and new for my kid. These drills reinforce proper mechanics, whereas the verbal cues from other coaches take a little longer for a young athlete to understand. We all know as soon as your kid gets bored, learning goes out the window. Without the the proper training he may not have made his JR High team for 7th and 8th grade.

Looking back, I wish I would have found TAP sooner. The earlier that you develop good mechanics the better!

My son has played baseball for about 10 years and for much of that time he has played catcher. We tried several catching coaches before we found Jared at TAP. Jared has completely exceeded our expectations, his knowledge of not only the catching position but the whole game of baseball is second to none.
